Settling in, Michael reached, paused, then continued to reach and laid an arm over Josh. Josh pressed himself aside to make room, twisting his head to smile at him. Michael was on his feet, now crawling onto the armchair. “You were the one getting cozy down at the beach.” Josh continued to smile warmly and rolled onto one side. Michael spluttered a surprised laugh, uncertain what to say. “You wanna play a video game, man?” He nodded at the TV. MIchael hesitated, glancing at the bedrooms, before plopping down onto an armchair himself. Was hot out there.” He stretched out his legs and grinned at Michael. “Your rooms are like ours.” A small sitting room and kitchen combination, full of white, overstuffed armchairs, a table, and a large TV, led the way to two bedroom suites, full of sun from large windows overlooking the beach. They stepped into the suite and Josh immediately pulled off the tshirt he’d donned at the beach. “Yeah, your folks said they wanted mine to see some place that sells cherries. Josh glanced at him while he scanned the key card. “You sure our parents are gonna be gone for a while?”
